Yikes! I almost missed this post!
Sabine’s 16th week was full of exciting photos, and now I’m going to foist them ALL upon you.
It was cold and Sabine was forced to wear… A BONNET! Does she not look adorbs in this? She is not amused, but Mama and all the other Mamas at playgroup were.
Sabine reacted to her books for the first time, filling my heart with hope that one day my kid will love the written word as much as I do.
Daddy got in on the reading action next. No, that is not a loaf of bread on my end table. Yes it is a loaf of bread shaped coasters from my friend in Atlanta. Yes, that friend is a badass for sending me “TOASTERS.”
We looked at more fall leaves.
We were extra special cute one morning and let Mama haul out the big camera and take some lovely pictures.
You guys, I waited YEARS for my own child to photograph. Even after 16 weeks my eyes still fill with tears when I sit down to edit her pictures.
While Mama dealt with a serious case of over emotion, Sabine defended Riverdale from evil doers (and went Trick or Treating a week days early).
And we had our 4 month checkup. To help pass the time while waiting for the doctor we took selfies and chewed on Mama’s finger.
And then, the most amazing thing ever happened… Sabine laughed and with that laugh came a flood of tears from yours truly. Honestly, I cry so many happy tears today. It is a VERY welcome change from last year.
