Baby in a bag

I picked up the Gonal-F from my old RE’s office the other week. I brought a small insulated lunch bag with an ice pack in it. How big could five pens be? The nurse brought out a full-sized brown paper bag and I gasped.

“The needles are not that big, are they???”

She laughed and opened the bag to show me – they only filled about a 1/4 of the space. However the packaging was still larger than I had expected and there was no where near enough space in my lunch bag to fit all four Gonal-F pens and the one Ovidrel. Instead I carried the brown bag for five blocks to my office. One block into the walk I felt a rush of hope.

I had a baby in a bag.

Or so we hope. Two potions designed to make my body do what so many others do naturally. While some may be depressed by this, I choose to be inspired. This. Will. Work.
