17 things about me that are not related to my ovaries or vagina



Despite what this blog may look like, there is more to me than infertility. I am feeling a little overwhelmed today so I thought I would write a post sharing 17 things about myself. I hope this post:

a. helps you feel better acquainted with me

b. reminds me that I am more than infertility and helps me have a happier weekend

  1. My middle name is actually Belle.
  2. I love labels, lists and organizing.
  3. I have climbed to the top of a now-dormant volcano and driven to the top of one of the worlds largest active volcanic craters.
  4. Both Mr. Husband and I want a pet goose.
  5. My imaginary friend as a child was a bunny rabbit.
  6. I love flowers. My allergies do not.
  7. I take photos.
  8. I used to sing opera.
  9. I day dream about robbing a bank, but could never actually do it.
  10. I am an amateur bird watcher.
  11. Mr. Husband and I share a car and like it.
  12. I hate lima beans.
  13. In a former life I was a newspaper editor. Today I am in marketing.
  14. I love to cook and am getting quite good at it.
  15. I collect mustaches and photos of strangers with noteworthy ones.
  16. My favorite colors are teal and mustard yellow.
  17. I will fly a hot-air balloon before I’m 50.
Note: I choose 17 items because the number 17 is my favorite number. Why? Because it looks so pretty in print.

    Lovely! Mustaches hey? v.v. funny! DH and I like to go “mullet hunting” and spot mullets. We have taken a few pics of some noteworthy ones, but not in a while. Will have to dust that habit off as it was so funny! I’ve climbed a volcano in New Zealand and drove up one in Hawaii. I would LOVE to rob a bank and can I come in your hot air balloon ride, FUN!

    Oh – and what is that font you used in the banner? gorgeous! (designing minds want to know)

    Lol, I have a thing for mustaches. We had a mustache themed wedding complete with a variety of mustaches on sticks for silly photos and chocolate mustaches as thank you treats. My father even grew a super special handlebar mustache for the event. Maybe I should post some mustache photos one day…
