Belle

The line is slightly darker this morning. I woke up at 1:45 a.m. to POAS but that line was the same as yesterdays. I think it is because I drank a couple of glasses of water and a big glass of juice before bed. My test at 4:45 a.m. was satisfactorily darker. I’m going to hold onto this one for hope (shhhh, don’t dash my hope, please!)

I also took a digital test, but it came up “NOT PREGNANT,” which was pretty devastating at 1:45 a.m. In my sleepy fog I remembered Rachel warning me that the digitals are not as sensitive and that I might want to hold on on peeing on those for a few more days. There’s that patience thing again. Blast.

Rachel from Eggs In A Row called me last night to squee about the good news. Her call was only the second time that day I had gotten to talk about this. I called my mom and she was thrilled. Mr. Husband was happy, but wanted to talk about his math job hunt for what seemed like an eternity. Thank goodness I got another business call and had to hang up otherwise I might have lashed out at him for not paying enough attention to Pip and MY NEWS. Childish, I know.

Anyways, Rachel called and it made my heart nearly burst with love and appreciation for this community. Rachel was the second blogger I connected with after finding Mo. She, too, is dealing with some lupus-y stuff, PCOS and some crazy-ass cycles. She shares my dry wit and obsession with peeing ovulation tests and HPTs regardless of the probability of them being positive. I am so thankful that I had the chance to have dinner with her while in Vegas, and cannot wait till our next trip to Arizona so we can visit again. It is so surreal that this online community has brought me IRL friends, some of whom I have REAL dinners with. (I’m totally exploding with sappiness today, I blame the pee sticks!) Thank you for the call last night, Rachel. It meant so much to get to talk to a human being about this. xoxo!

That’s all for now. You’ll probably get another post from me tonight. I think it is going to be a two-post-a-day week, my apologies!
