Five Weeks

Today I am five weeks pregnant. Last night my mind was filled with things to say but this morning they all seem trite. So I’ll leave you with a photo of a family I adore – geese at Jacobson Park. I love how these parents quietly tend to their young. I love that they only paddle around shallow water and that when they come on shore the parents stay close and eye me and my lens suspiciously. I think new parents can learn a lot from watching the peaceful, quiet parenting of the Canada Goose. I know I’m taking notes.

Pip, Mr. Husband and I love you so much already and eagerly await our meeting in 2013!

Thanks so much for the pregnancy stick pics 🙂 Am I weird or what? Don’t answer that…just let me tell you…from the title of this post I got all giddy cause..I THOUGHT WE WOULD SEE PICTURES OF THAT FIVE WEEK BELLY! Which I know isn’t so much to see but it’s still PIP and it is so fun to document what you (and PIP) looked like early on.
The goslings are cute, too. And oh, I just gotta mention that little boy you showcased the other day…How adorable is he..and his little hat and vest…OMG! I love it!
    Happy Five Weeks!

WAY too soon for belly pics! I need to know Pip is actually a cluster of baby cells and not some creepy clump of HCG producing mole cells. I’m TERRIFIED of a molar pregnancy! Plus, all a belly pic would show right now is my fat roll from months of IF treatment. No one, not even you, dear cousin, wants or needs to see that 🙂

I hope it’s a beautiful day where you are and you’re out taking more lovely photos.

Also, I awarded you the One Lovely Blog award. Cheers!
