As painful as it was to photograph these kids, I could not resist. The pure joy every time the fountain turned on made me smile so hard my face hurt.

    Wonderful photos! There’s a fountain very similar to this downtown where I live and I have the same bittersweet feelings when watching the kids play in it. They have so much fun, but it makes my heart ache.
