HELP: Fever :(

I have a fever of 99.3 now, which is quite high for me. Body aches, upset stomach, headache. I think I’m sick and probably boiling our little embryo. 😦 Should I call my clinic or is there nothing they can really do other than say better luck next time?

If I were you, I might call them just to see what they say. I don’t think it could hurt. I am pretty sure that Tylenol is safe to take (it is on my safe list of meds during pregnancy) so they might tell you to take some of that to help your fever to go down. I hope that this clears up really soon. Hope you feel better!

Do call your clinic. They will want to make sure it’s not an infection from the transfer or your injections. Also, take Tylenol if you’re not allergic and drink lots of fluids!

    Call them

I definitely say call them too — it won’t hurt and it might make you feel better, at least give you a little peace of mind. I did read somewhere that, during pregnancy, a fever is not of concern until it reaches 102 or 103 and lasts for a certain amount of time, so you might not even need to worry at all. But I certainly think it’s worth giving the clinic a call. Get well soon!

Call them! Can’t hurt!! Keep us posted!

I’d call them. But I do think your wee embryo will be fine. They usually say that a fever is only a concern if it hits over 103 degrees. But for your own peace of mind CALL! I hope you feel better love!

I also say take Tylenol and call the doc. I’ve been taking it this entire pregnancy pretty much and my docs all say its fine. I hate to be the annoying optimist here but don’t lose hope just yet! I’m praying for you Belle!

A fever will not ruin your chances. I’d do what you can to keep the fever down, including tylenol and lots of fluids. Feel better!

How are you feeling now? Don’t panic. That fever is still considered low grade and shouldn’t have a negative impact at all. Did oyu reach your Dr.? Hugs Belle!

I say call. It will give you peace of mind. In the meantime, my clinic record Tylenol for fevers & body ache so maybe try taking 2, if allowed, and getting someone to take care of the last of the sunday chores so u can rest.

Most of all: don’t worry. U r not cooking yr embies.

I agree with everyone else – it can’t hurt to call and Tylenol is perfectly safe to take and will reduce the fever. Your embies will be fine – our bodies are amazing things and the ute is great at keeping little ones safe. I hope you feel better soon!

You can take Tylenol and drink ice water and take cool showers. Don’t give up yet on this cycle, just try to bring your temperature down! *HUGS*
