Yup. That’s my beta at 12 days past 5 day transfer, essentially 17 days past ovulation if I were a normal human who could conceive without a crew of strangers up in my business.
Oh my gosh, you guys this is so much better than Pip, and Pip’s beta was still quite high for a singleton. The Professor is convinced we are going to BOGO – Buy One Get One – but I’m still pretty darn sure I have one super healthy over achiever singleton in there. Time will tell!
Repeat beta on Wednesday to check and see if things are doubling properly. Then we’ll schedule my first ultrasound. For those who know me in real life and have been bugging me about when they can call/acknowledge/flood me with texts and emails/visit me and throw confetti, the Professor and I would like to wait until we see a good heartbeat. Hopefully in two weeks or so we’ll be ready to celebrate. Until then, let’s continue to pretend that there is nothing happening in the ute.
I decided to stay home from work today because I’m still snotty and sneezing and coughing and in general I feel pretty gross. I also just sneezed a huge loogie onto my hand. Lovely.
Also on tap for today is my Vlog debut. In a foolish moment of weakness I joined Stupid Stork’s video challenge. For this we were instructed to video ourselves answering some questions. Being a total over achiever and a crazy cat lady, I also took the opportunity to introduce you to my sleepy cats. Behold: One Awkward Belle and four cats who really did not want to be bothered during their nap time.
NOTE: This Vlog will only be up for a short amount of time and then I’ll set it to password protected because I sort of don’t want any Tom Dick or Harry to see it! If you miss it, email me and I’ll send you the login info.
ALSO NOTE: I meant to give a tour of my living room but forgot thanks to my excitement over showing you my cats!
Check out the other lovely ladies who are participating!
