Stay strong, Mama! We’re in the same boat. We were supposed to start tonight, too, but Clarke is sick (excuse?). I look forward to hearing how it went! x

We had two swaddle addicts … and then Magic Sleep Suit addicts (thank you, BTW, I read of it here!) but truly the transition was far less dramatic and horrible than we had imagined. Our fraternal twins are NOT good sleepers, a default nap is 30-45 minutes, a miracle nap last 1.5 hours max (v. rare). Ours have driven us SO crazy with sleep issues that we have separated them permanently into his & her nurseries 😦 so we feel a bit more free to let each CIO without disrupting the other. We are still woken up 2X a night by each of them and end up with someone in our bed systematically by 4 am LATEST. If we can woo both to lie down, or get in a swing, or sleep with us until 630-7 it’s a good day. You are not alone! Ours are 10.5 months old (8.5 adjusted) and we have never had a sleep through the night night. Hang in there.

Good luck!!! I find it helps to turn the sound on the monitor off and check in on the picture from time to time 🙂

Look at little Sabine exercising her freedom! You may find that she sleeps better without it. Once Bryson could roll from his back to tummy, he slept better!
