Night Two – No Sleep Suit/No Nursing To Sleep

03/25/2014

Belle

It’s too soon to tell if last night’s decent sleep was due to the lack of sleep suit/nursing to sleep or just because this little lady was exhausted from a busy day playing with friends and napping poorly! Either way, I feel encouraged that she is READY to learn how to sleep through the night!

In other news: I have registered for my first 5K race since before I got pregnant. I’m excited… and terrified. I don’t have a running buddy here like I did in Kentucky. My Kentucky buddy was super encouraging and ran at my pace (slow). It was nice to have someone to cheer me along. I hope that by starting out on my own I will be able to connect with the local running community. And now I need to finish my coffee and load this baby into the jogger to head out for my first practice run. Wish me luck!

Best of luck! I have been following along and wow, I can’t believe how you have managed for so long. It will be interesting to see how you get on, I hope it won’t take long until you all can sleep through the night!!

I’m calling it right now – you aren’t going to have to move on to the next phase (but please still send me details, ha!). This kid is going to be sleeping through by the weekend!

Totally based on a crappy day, BUT my bet is it will continue and become routine. First she will be so exhausted at night from fighting naps that she can’t fight the call to sleep and after a couple days of that it will be routine and she won’t remember any different! Woohoo! And that night must have been a dream :).

Having a hard time actually reading the log since the type is so small and I can’t enlarge on my computer….but it looks like all is going in the right direction. My 2nd baby was such a terrible sleeper that I still have a little anxiety every night when I get into bed and wonder if I will be able to sleep through so I totally know how desperate you are for some good rest. I’m hoping you will continue to see great progress and the next step won’t have to be a hard one but just a natural progression.
