Great title, right? Soooo accurate, though. This final push at school is insane – a two part practical final exam, a huge written defense of our practical (why we chose the exercises/assessments we chose and what we analyzed about our practice client), the last test, two practical test-outs on flexibility training and resistance training, four final homework assignment AND a final cumulative exam worth a large chunk of our grade.
All I do these days is eat, drink coffee, study and nurse. The Professor has taken care of Sabine every morning till noon for the past week while I hide in the basement of our building and study (it is the only place that is close enough to answer a frantic baby, but far enough that I can not hear baby and actually focus). In the afternoons he goes to work until 10:30 p.m. and I take over baby-care. When Sabine goes to bed I work until I can’t see straight and then I eat cake and pass out. I have not worn make-up in a week. I shower every other day if I’m lucky and we are all eating TV dinners at night – even Sabine. Praises to Dr. Praegger’s and his veggie burgers! Currently they and frozen microwaved broccoli is keeping her going. This is worse than the newborn days but I am SO CLOSE to done!
Scrambled Eggs will be back in full force once I graduate. Until then, I leave you with the above photo of a very stinky Belle sharing an apple with a very adorable Sabine.
